Dr. Sun graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine with a bachelor's degree in 1991. She later earned a Master's degree in Ophthalmology in 1997 and a Ph.D. in Ophthalmology in 2009, both from the same institution. From 1996 to 1997, she served as a resident ophthalmologist at Cochin Hospital, Paris Descartes University (Paris V) in France. With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Sun currently practices at Ruijin Hospital Affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Her expertise includes the early diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, surgical management of cataracts, specialized examinations and treatments for fundus diseases, and fundus laser procedures. She is also a member of the French Society of Ophthalmology

 Dr. Sun specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex ophthalmic conditions, including dry eye syndrome, lacrimal duct diseases, comprehensive management of adolescent myopia, early diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, surgical treatment of cataracts, specialized examinations and treatments for fundus diseases, as well as fundus laser therapy. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sun has published several academic articles in medical journals such as Drug Design, Development and Therapyand Recent Advances in Ophthalmology.
